Jobbeschreibung  Your tasks:
- Analysis of DOC samples with ultra-high resolution mass spectrometry (FT-ICR MS)
- Analysis of supplementary parameters (nutrients, lignin, optical data)
- Field work in the National Park “Bayerischer Wald”
- Laboratory experiments with soil mesocosms
- Participation in training courses, workshops and conferences
- Joint interpretation of data with hydrologic and biological project partners
Qualifikationen Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Geosciences or related natural sciences
- Strong background in at least one of the following disciplines: biogeochemistry, organic geochemistry, geo-ecology, hydrochemistry or related fields
- Skills in organic (ultra-) high resolution mass spectrometry as well as statistics and programming (R, Python, Matlab) are highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and motivated to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Able to perform physically demanding work under harsh field conditions (mountain field sites at approx. 1000 m altitude)
- Driving license required
